Noor Razooky was born and raised in San Diego, CA to Iraqi immigrant parents. Noor speaks Arabic and a dialect of Aramaic. She is of Chaldean descent, an Aramaic-speaking ethnic group tracing back to ancient Mesopotamia. Her father, a physics teacher, instilled in her a passion for education, while her mother, a former model and jewelry designer, and her grandmother, the former head costume designer at The Baghdad School of Music and Ballet, inspired her creative spirit.
Noor graduated from San Diego State University with a B.S. in Criminal Justice and a minor in International Security & Conflict Resolution. Her academic pursuits took her to the University of Oxford, where she studied International Relations during a winter abroad program. Concurrent with her academic endeavors, Noor diligently pursued her passion for acting. It wasn't long before she booked a leading role in the feature film, "Continuance," earning her a best actress nomination at the San Diego Film Awards, while later making her television debut as Young Khadija in FX's acclaimed series "The Old Man," starring Jeff Bridges.
